Shanti Atma Yoga and Trimurti Yoga NZ come together to present this 100 Hour YACEP Yin Yoga TTC Immersion in beautiful New Zealand on 20th - 30th July, 2018.

Yoga teachers, are you looking to develop your teaching in a new and complementing way? Are you feeling a little stuck in your teaching style and would like to revisit the 'how to' and 'art of 'teaching to find your style and comfort? Yin yoga lovers, are you seeking some well deserved time to deepen your practice but you can't quite find the time?

Do you have any unidentifiable pain in your muscles or tissue and can't quite put your finger on it? It's time to rise to the next level, understand the 'why' and 'how', and Integrate myo-fascial release into your practice and teaching through yoga with Yin!

If you answered yes to any of these then this 10 day Yin Yoga TTC Immersion is your avenue!

THE DAY
Wake up to yin yoga in the morning to move you into the fow of the day. Morning theory classes will intricately take apart the components of yin yoga. Lunch breaks up the day and is followed with the art of teaching interactive sessions that keeps your development growing. Evening asana and other practices close the day.

AT THE END OF THE COURSE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:
-Present a 100 Hour YACEP certification (Yoga Alliance Continuing Educational Provider)
-Follow a path in yin yoga
-Incorporate techniques into and advance teaching and self practice
-Broaden your teaching expertise with knowledge from a yin perspective
-Have a strong foundation of the art of teaching Yin Yoga
-Offer your students a new style of yoga which complements and balances other practices
-Offer your students a new style of yoga that works with the physical, energetic, mental and emotional dimension of the body
-Have tools to facilitate a practice that leans towards holistic health and wellness

YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga is the gentle application of tension and compression to the body which induces a healthy phase change in the tissue. The practice is characterised by long, static holds, using floor based asana for muscle relaxation and myofascial release, allowing for a meditative focus. Yin Yoga focuses on strengthening the inter-connectivity of the physical, mental, emotional and energetic dimensions of the body and its systems.

COURSE
The immersion is broken down into two modules:
1. Anatomy & Fascial studies
2. Energy & Chinese Medicine

MODULE 1
Anatomy 50 Hrs (Functional Approach)
Yin and yang asana practice
Meditation practice
​Anapanasati - Breath Awareness
Mind/Body Connection
Muscle mandalas with physical target areas
Skeletal and muscular system
The approach of bio-individuality
Tension and compression theory
Fascia connective tissue and science of movement
Fascial trainlines and myo-fascial release workshop
Teaching yoga as an art (principles, sequencing, communication, responsibilities, space)
