SCULSS Committee Meeting
The SCULSS Committee usually meet fortnightly via Blackboard Collaborate accessible via our Blackboard site found under 'My Information and Workgroups' in your MySCU Hub learn.scu.edu.au
Meetings typically go for about 90minutes. At these meetings we collaborate and organise events and opportunities for all SCU's SLJ Students. Recently these have included the SCULSS Annual Law Dinner, Online Research events with Guest Speaker Kayleen Wardell, sponsoring students to attend the Australian Academy of Law Conference on the Future of Legal Education in Australia.
Some things the committee are currenlty working on is Online Mooting, Online Research Events with Law Librarian Kayleen Wardell, Legal Professional Meet and Greets, Social media, our SCULSS newsletter, and the structure of the SCULSS Committee in preparation for our AGM which will be in the last 3 weeks of session 2.
All of SLJ's students are welcome to come along to our committee meetings as observers, and there is the opportunity if you wish for you to take a position on the committee and be voted into that position during the meeting.
